Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Translate Hub Google Sheets add-on (the "Add-On"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Add-On. These Terms apply to all users, including those accessing via individual or organizational Google accounts.

2. License to Use

TranslateHub is licensed, not sold. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Add-On solely for personal or business use within the Google Sheets environment.

Under this license, you may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute the Add-On’s code or any part of its functionality
  • Use the Add-On for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the Add-On
  • Bypass usage limits or subscription enforcement
  • Misrepresent your identity while using the Add-On

Violation of any of these restrictions may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your access.

3. Free Trial & Subscription

TranslateHub provides all users with a one-time free trial of up to 500 translated characters. After this trial is exhausted, a paid subscription is required to continue using the Add-On.

All payments are securely processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to abide by the Stripe terms of service and billing practices.

4. Data Handling

TranslateHub processes your spreadsheet content only for the purpose of translation. We do not store, share, or index your spreadsheet data. Translations are securely processed via the DeepL API, and your content is never retained.

TranslateHub does not transmit your data to Google Cloud or any third-party storage provider. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

5. No Warranties

The Add-On is provided “as is”. We make no warranties, express or implied, and disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of any translation.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TranslateHub and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Add-On.

7. Modifications

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the Add-On after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
