This information is collected when you fill out forms, request support, or use features that require identification.

2. Why We Collect Data

We collect this information to:

• Provide and maintain our service

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Subscription Information

TranslateHub offers all users a chance to try the add-on for free: each new account receives up to 500 characters of translation without requiring a subscription.
The trial limit is granted once per account and cannot be extended. After reaching this limit, a paid subscription is required to continue using the full functionality of the add-on.

4. Data Retention

Your data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Once your data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.

TranslateHub does not transmit or store your spreadsheet content in Google Cloud or any third-party storage services. All translation processing is performed securely via the DeepL API, and your content is never saved by TranslateHub.

5. Our Commitment to Security

At TranslateHub, we prioritize the protection of our users’ data. We employ a comprehensive set of technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your information.

Payment information is securely processed through Stripe, a trusted global payment provider that complies with industry standards such as PCI DSS.

6. Limited Use and Google API Data

Translate Hub’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access and use your Google Sheets data to perform translation functions — we never store your sheet content.

We do not use any data obtained through Google Workspace APIs for the purposes of developing, improving, or training generalized artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.

7. Parental Control Over Student Data

If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has used our service and submitted data, you may request the deletion of that data by contacting us at info@spreadsheetshub.com.

8. Cookies

We do not use cookies.

9. External Links

TranslateHub does not contain external links and does not interact with websites outside the Google Sheets ecosystem, except for its integration with the DeepL API, which is used solely for performing translations.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable)
