SpreadsheetsHub ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Sheet Optimizer (the "Add-on") collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our Google Sheets™ add-on.

2. Information We Access and Collect

To function correctly, Sheet Optimizer requires access to specific Google data. We only request the permissions necessary to provide the Add-on's features. Based on your consent screen, the Add-on requests the following scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets (See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets): This is required for the Add-on to read your data (to find duplicates or errors) and modify your spreadsheets (to apply themes, clean data, lock cells, or split text).
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/script.container.ui (Display and run third-party web content in prompts and sidebars inside Google applications): This allows the Add-on to display its custom sidebar and user interface within your Google Sheets environment.

3. How We Use Your Information

The access permissions granted are used exclusively to operate the Add-on's features, such as:

• Formatting cells and applying visual themes.
• Identifying and managing duplicate rows.
• Restructuring text data.
• Protecting specific formula cells.

4. Data Storage and Security

Because Sheet Optimizer processes data directly within your Google Sheets environment using Google Apps Script, we do not host or secure your data on our own servers. Your data's security is managed by Google's infrastructure. We strongly recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy to understand how your data is protected on their platform.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Sheet Optimizer operates entirely within your active Google Sheets™. We do not collect, transmit, store, or retain any of your personal Google user data or spreadsheet content on external servers. All data processing happens locally within your browser.

Because we do not retain or store any user data, there is no data for us to delete. If you wish to completely remove the add-on and revoke its access, you can simply uninstall it via the Google Workspace Marketplace and remove the permissions in your Google Account Security settings.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
